I'd be tempted to buy at that price, cut the front off (so you can insert fir tree after this receptacle is secure) , see if you could epoxy in as a replacement.
Please keep as posted if you go that route. Might turn out to be a useful fix for all.

There is a 3D model for these around somewhere that can be 3D printed. Door Panel Clips - Page 2 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum The file is there.

The homemade 3-d fir tree replacement I bought was no more durable than the Jaguar part.
I guess the lessons to be learned are:
a) it’s a highly stressed part
b) over time, pulling the door shut too hard is not going to be a good strategy for having long-lived plastic parts.
c) maybe a metal 3-D part would be better than the plastic 3-d.
d) don’t expect miracles from a car with an engineered 10 year lifespan when it’s over 20 years old.
