He will respond with full details of whats required in respect if arrival times, etc. This communication comes in addition to the email with the ticket download, etc.
See you there hopefully. I’ll be with my Carnival Red coupe, P799 EAU, which is easily identified (apart from the plate, obvs) as the ‘ginger-cators’ and their apertures have been completely eradicated!

Personal preference is also the reason for the deletion of the reflectors. Personally, I feel that they disrupt the sleek lines of the car. They were only fitted in deference to US legislation where they have to be illuminated as running lights. There is no legal requirement for them in the UK. Yours is very unusual amongst British registered cars to have illumination as they all left the factory as simple reflectors with no facility for illumination. The wiring is all in place for the US market on all cars, but to fit illumination a previous owner must have purchased US spec ‘lozenges’ with bulb holders. Are the rear ones orange like the front or red like American cars?
Anyway, ‘vive la difference’!

Personal preference on the part of the person displaying as to whether they share their car’s history in that way or not. Some do, some don’t.

I too am removing mine, as I prefer a smoother look too. Will be removing the side bump strips as well. The doors look so much better without them IMO

I definitely missed a trick there and wish I'd taken the rubbing strips off my car when it was restored and resprayed 6 months ago. Maybe in another 25 years!

I'm not keen on any of the side markers/indicators on the car. Seem like an afterthought rather than being incorporated into the design of the car. Pretty sure the side indicators are straight off the mk1 Mondeo.
Just my personal preference of course.

I also keep looking at my Rubbing strips and think of removing them. They were deleted the year after my car and it certainly creates cleaner lines. My only consideration is they are functional against inconsiderate people in car-parks....
