Martin,

Hope you are well. Just wondered if you were going to Gaydon this Saturday for the 25th anniversary of the XK8?
I am sure your knowledge will be of interest to many people.

Should be fun.

Hi
I am hoping to make it for some of the day, I have a prior commitment for a horse riding event supporting my partner for a few hours of the day but I don't know when just yet. (The times for each competitor are declared a couple of days before the event)

A couple of questions if I may to save me searching on the internet
a) What are the times of the day (start -finish) ?
b) Do I need to pre-book or can I arrive and pay enterance on the day ?

Not been to one of the Breakfast Club gatherings before as normally too busy horse riding or kart racing

Thanks

Martin,

Great to hear form you. The museum at Gaydon is open as normal, it's just that they are hosting the large XK8 25th Anniversary as well. The museum is open 1000 to 1700. You can pay on the day.

The XK8 thing starts at 0930, but I suspect lots of cars will be parking up before that. Normal museum tickets cost £14.50 (which actually gives you unlimited access for 12 months!). If you just want to exhibit your XK8, the cost is £10, which includes access to museum for 1 day as well. Tickets for the latter close on 3rd Sept. I guess people will drift away late afternoon.

Well we'll see what time our horse'y thing is and I'll either make it or I won't
If I do come I'll trundle down in my XJR as i chose one of those over an XKR as I prefer my Aj26 in a body with 2 doors
