Default Bit of a "hood" (top) issue happening. Any suggections

Every so often I'll turn fast, or hit a rough patch, and a "Hood (top) not latched" warning will pop up. I'll stop, press the top close button, hear a quick whir, latch clunk, and finish bing. Then all is good, till a few days later, and it happens again.
No leaking fluids, and looks like all lines are new and were previous owner replaced. Any ideas? Thanks guys

First things first - thoroughly clean and lube the latch with white lithium grease....

Make sure the latch screw under the plug is tight.

1 - Plug in header just right of center.

2 - Remove plug.

3 - 8mm allen latch screw exposed. (Allen key is attached to the base of the pump.)

Yeah, first time this happened, I pulled over and was opening and closing OUR "hood" (bonnet). And yelling at the car, "WTF CAR, IT IS FREAKIN CLOSED !!!" Musta looked like a crazy person at Ventura and Tugunga Starbucks, till I realized this thing knew UK English, and I pushed the top button...I then switched my Bluetooth to speak with an English accent

HA! I know where that Starbucks is.

My Bluetooth speaks French (from the prior owner,,,still no idea what to do with it, you gotta teach me to be current with technology)

I also have Satellite radio installed?

Yep, every Sunday morning they have an exotic car showoff next to there. Sure I can show you Bluetooth. That's not as destructive as ripping up your dash.
You know, I've search tons of Jaguar DIY manuals, and NONE of them EVER list the common, and always done instruction "Now lose your effin *****!"

Yo brotha! Thank you so much!!! Sure enough, after prying out that plug, the hex screw tightened like a quarter turn. Then heard the car happy "Bing" And all is good.
Owe you a drink!
