Bonnet Lift Supports (aka Gas Spring) Replacement)

Has anyone had to do this to their XK8?

Any tricks to doing it?

Any recommended suppliers?

Haven't done Bonnet Struts but it can't be too different from Luggage Compartment Struts:

If they are anything like the S they're a piece of cake, the pins are just held with spring clips, pp them out and in and you're done.

Really easy job, took me 5 minutes at the most to do both, just needs a small screwdriver or similar to release the spring clips.
