BPM Part Number Question for 1997 XK8
I have a bad BPM, the dealer tested it by putting a test one in and it solved my electrical problems. They want big money for a new one. I found a used one and not sure if it will be right. The VCATS code is the same and I know that is important, but the last digit is different. 'H' vs 'F". Does that matter? Thanks for any help!
My original --> LJA2500AH XXX=056
Used I found --> LJA2500AF XXX=056.

I would call your dealership parts department and have the search the part number on jpec to find if they are compatible. Sometimes those letters represent different options on the car or it could mean it's just an updated part. With the vcats number being the same it is very likely to work.

Yes, I did ask them and they said it's likely to work, but they are not sure. They also said that they are not sure Jaguar has them any more.
