I am looking at brake pads for my 2004 XK8.
I found some made by Brembo. Ceramic. Has anyone used these? I found them at RockAuto. P36007N and P36017N.

The wear factor is not a plus, but I like the stopping power.
If you do a lot of city driving, then be prepared for a new set about every 2.5 years, no big deal.
If you have not changed your fluid since the last pad change, it would be a good chance to push the old out at the caliber and pump some fresh from the master.
We did this slowly with no issue with the ABS. No stomping the pedal.
Be careful with the ABS wire and add some anti seize around the hub where the rim sets on. They do oxidize on the hub over time.

True by the RA indicator but we don't always get the fact in using the product. Like most wear items, how you drive will determine your results.
I do like the low noise as some will drive you nuts. but it's been reported that the feel is not there.
The best is the lack of wear on the rotors, it's been reported to get over 80K miles, kind of a life time for lots of our cars now.
If your are doing your own work, not a bad price for four wheel.

A good alternative would be the ebc redstuff pads. For the bite they provide they are surprising easy on rotors. Of course they are more expensive. But I don’t mind spending money on braking system components if there is a performance improvement.
I’ve used the redstuff pads on several classic cars as well as on my ‘02 XKR. Never any fade issues and am going on 52,000 miles on the front pads and 50,000 miles on the rear set. I’ve got about 25% of the friction material left. But am just waiting for a really warm day to replace them.
I changed the rotors when the pads were replaced. No uneven wear on the rotors, I expect they should be good for the life of my new pads. The rotors are a basic RockAuto sources no-name brand.
