Brake rotor size

Brake rotor size
I am getting ready to replace the front brake pads on my MY 2001 XK8 which has standard (non-brembo) brakes. There is a slight lip on the rotors, so I am playing it safe and replacing the rotors as well.
Looking at online brands and pricing, there seems to be a variance in dimensions for rotors "guaranteed" OEM spec. I see both diameters of 305mm and 325mm, plus rim widths of 17mm to 30mm.
Can't load the parts manual on my Mac, so can someone tell me what I should be trying to buy size-wise. Is there a problem with the 325 diameter? I have 18" wheels so that should be fine, but what about dust shield, etc.?
And the rotor width; an over 20mm difference seems high to me. I would guess more is better but will there be issues with the caliper fit?
