Default Brembo capliers part number

Does anyone know the part number used for front or rear brembo calipers?

Stamped on the back of the Brembo calipers. I bought a set rear calipers from ebay but I think they are fronts, havent managed to get the old standard calipers of yet to see which I have recevied.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Stu,congrats on getting some Brembos on the cheap.I will take a look at my calipers and see what i can discover for you.I have measured the size of the calipers very approximately as i still had wheels on.

Fronts are 255mm approx Back are 215mm approx

BTW you need 20" rims to fit Brembos, just on the off chance you have standard size rims, the flexible brake pipes are different from standard calipers too depending upon VIN.

The fronts are HUGE and the rear calipers are about the size of the standard front calipers.

Well, just thought I would clear up the use of Brembos and wheel size. I have the factory Brembos front and rear and I also have the 18'' Jaguar Hydra Wheels. The Brembos were available as an option on a couple of the Jaguar 18" wheels, the Hydra design being one. The fit/clearance, however, is tight. And, the flexible brake pipes/lines are indeed different. The Brembos do an excellent job of stopping and are rather resistant to performance fade when driven hard.

Hope this will be helpful.

The calipers measure 270mm in lenght thats not including the brake pipe that links both sides. They were advertised as off a 4.2 S-Type or XJR rear. They were only £100 buy it now ebay, thought I would take a chance.

I painted them first. Maybe should have tried to see if they fit.

I believe the front rotors are 355mm and the rear 325. That looks to me like a front caliper in your photo.

I thought disc size didn't matter.
