Default British Parts UK

Has anyone here had experience with purchasing from British Patrs UK and if so were you pleased with the transaction? Their prices appear to be very good and I am thinking of ordering parts from them.

Thanks

Tim V.

Yes , I ordered their Front Suspension Kit for my 1999 XK8, It was cheaper then buying all the parts seperate, even including the shipping and it was pretty fast considering. The Kit did not come with the upper shock mounts but everything else worked out fine. But I'm not sure if they are "real" Jaguar OEM parts. but ended up fine.

Scott, have you done the front suspension work yet and if so how difficult a job was it.

Thanks

Just remember that parts in the UK can be less expensive, but after shipping charges, you usually do not beat prices available here. I have had to order many Rolls Royce parts from the UK and it sometimes cost more for the shipping than the part!!

Tim, I actually ordered the Suspension Kit and Shocks and Top Shock mounts (mine were shot and the front end was sagging about 2 inches) I had a qualified Jag mechanic do it all for me. Wasn't cheep but I wasn't sure I could compress the springs and pound in the ball joints. By the way the car felt new, well, much better then before.

On the average, their prices were better, but after adding in the shipping charges from the UK, it was a wash. If you have any large pieces, forget about them. They will email you w/ total charges, including shipping costs, before they charge and ship.
