Unhappy Broken brake light cover

This afternoon, I noticed that the plastic cover on my right brake light cover has been smashed. I've no idea how it happened ( the bumper hasn't got a scratch ), but can anybody tell me what the part is called so I can find a replacement?

I'm hoping it's just a screw-on plastic cover, but I'm guessing it's going to be some integrated part that's going to cost me hundreds.

edit: I forgot to mention, it's a 1998 XK8 ( UK, right hand drive )

Agreed i also not splitting hairs but i looked at the table below the listing...

This part is compatible with 10 vehicle(s).

NotesYearMakeModelTrimEngine 2006JaguarXK8AllAll 2005JaguarXK8AllAll 2004JaguarXK8AllAll 2003JaguarXK8AllAll 2002JaguarXK8AllAll 2001JaguarXK8AllAll 2000JaguarXK8AllAll 1999JaguarXK8AllAll 1998JaguarXK8AllAll 1997JaguarXK8AllAll

1998 is listed as compatible, anyhow as you probably know the base number is the same for all MY's, only the suffix is replaced in current MY changes.

The part no. is LJA4900BD that is for 96-01 R/H

LJE4900AB is for 01-06

C2N3718 is for 03-06

The last 2 part no.s are interchangeable, the later lamps are the tinted type, those lamps will not fit in a 98 car unless you cut a big chunk of metal out of the light aperture on the car body, the light units are about 1.5" deeper, I know this as I have done it too many times to count and sell the replacement panels....

If the listing is saying they will fit, it is wrong
