Broken wire on Turn Signal Stalk
98 XK8, first, I have looked at all the electrical diagrams for the turn signal switch and I cannot locate the solder position for a purple wire that has broken away from the connection. It is one of three wires that come out of the switch stem at the base and goes to one of the soldered contact points. If anyone has a switch to look at or experienced this same wire break, could you point me to the position it needs to be soldered to. It broke so cleanly that I cannot locate where it broke. Thanks.

Wire fixed, still no turn signals
I was able to find the location of the broken wire and repaired. Got the AUTO function for lights working but did not fix the non-working turn signals. I am still suspect of a broken wire or faulty connection as everything controlled by the Body Processor is working. All connectors for turn sig bulbs are clean, no corrosion, replaced all bulbs just to be safe. I am open to any recommdations.

Simple Fix With A Fuse
Bought a used Body Processor Module, came today. Problem still existed. Continued to look for broken wire, nothing. I had looked at all the fuses once already. So I took the fuse diagram from the trunk started checking fuses again. Low and behold the PO apparently took fuses out of the car and did not replace them. I put a new 15 amp fuse in the empty slot on the passenger side fuse panel. Fed power to the turn signals and emergency blinker circuit. Viola, turn signals, lights when locking car with key fob. Man, there are certain people that have no business owning a British car or any European car. This exercise really gave me a good hands on effort and learned a lot about the car and its inner workings. Only issue now is the little micro-switch for the trunk lights. It is sticking and lights are delayed coming on. As a ringing endorsement to this site I got lots of good info to trouble shoot the car. Hope I can give some back. Thanks to all.
