My sdd found a dtc code - c1295 steering angle sensor open circuit on my 04 xkr.
Has anybody experienced that error code? I don't have an engine light, though used to have the "dsc fault" error for a while until I changed my suspension shocks (coils and struts), and also use since a ctek to keep the battery charged. No dsc fault code since but my sdd software found that c1295 code. I'm not sure I'm reading the results right, could it be an old code? It says permanent code.

How do I verify and fix that? I was thinking checking the wires of the sensor would be a good start but I don't even know where the sensor is... somewhere behind the steering wheel maybe? If it implies removing the airbag that's going to suck!
