On Long Island there are very few such opportunities. There is one parkway that runs North and South near me that is very lightly traveled in sections but you have to be very watchful of deer that populate the area.
Driving in Rhode Island I did take it to 120 for a very short time.
For me getting it up to about 40 then really punching it is addicting.
I think its the feeling of getting sucked back into the seat!

I ran mine up to 110 for a short stretch once.
It was on the same stretch that I ran my Dodge van up to 110. I was actually a bit surprised that the van reached 110. It was still climbing a bit, but would probably have maxed out around 115.
My Jag was just starting to feel it's oats and had plenty more to go.

Yup, I'm 50 years old and I had my R up to the century mark twice today! Whether that makes me a kid or just stupid - I don't really care.
I'm lucky to live on the edge of town in the mid-west and with the brembos, I can bring it down pretty fast. Hell, about a month ago, when I was riding shotgun and my wife was driving... She passed a row of cars on I-70 and cleared the front car at about 115 mph ! I leaned over looked at the speedo then back at her...Smiling, she just let out of it, slowly settling back to about 75 mph then said "I really LOVE this car!"
Me too.
