Default car cover

Can anyone recommend a car cover that fits? I have ordered from two different suppliers and both covers were much too large.

I've been using the Noah car covers from Covercraft on my cars for several years. Perfect fit!

these folks make a great cover.

some advice: never ever cover a car unless you do so immediately after completely washing and waxing it.

Instead of a full car cover I use Cabrio Shield. Well made and a perfect fit! It just goes over the convertible top and windows to protect the top and interior from sun and "stuff".

California Car Cover, great folks and stand behind their warranty. I've used them for years on all my cars. The one for my XK8 is a tight exact match and after 3 years in the Hawaii sun and wind no issues with the cover or rubbing on the car. Just be sure to use the center under car strap/cord to keep the cover tight.

Also used CA Car Cover for 2 of my cars. 'Noah' model, custom fit. Washable using Woolite at a commercial laundromat's large washer. Also used their dryer on low setting without shrinkage.

I got mine from the want ads. It appears to be original jaguar with XK8 on the cover.

Hi. Interesting! I've not come across this one. Can you post some pix of your Cabrio Shield please? Does it stay on well in windy days, and is it waterproof? We'll be moving to Portugal within the next year, and the idea of something which might give protection against the sometimes blistering sun there is really attractive.

Thanks!

The Cabrio Shield has goose bumpers that lock into the door gaps front and rear and the truck gap. This is in addition to tucking under the wipers, Velcro under the mirrors and magnets along the edge sewer into the fabric. It has survived a few high wind storm already this year.

The fabric is completely waterproof canvas like backed with a rubber like backing.

Hah! I won't hang around the mailbox looking for my commission check/cheque.

Other than the fit and finish, I think the thing that impressed me most was receiving the cover from over the ocean in only a matter of days!

I have a California Car Cover which came with the car when I bought it. I've never used it and don't plan to. I think bras and covers do more damage than they're worth. The only time I would cover it is when it is garaged, and then I don't need to use a cover. Leaving it fully covered outside with wind is not good for the paint.
