Lightbulb Changed Instrument Cluster Bulb = Car won't start

Hello everyone I went through the process to change my instrument cluster bulb I had disconnected the battery and everything as per the instructions, however when I went to turn the car back one then after getting everything set up reset the windows the instrument cluster does not light up at all nor does the nav screen ( but the buttons on the side of the screen light up) nor does the car turn over everything else comes on. I also get the ER on the ac LCD as I'm told is normal when reconnecting the battery. The battery was only disconnected for about an hour and a half. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I think I solved most of my problem, it seems the whole valet button came out and instead of just the plug when I pulled out the lower knee bolster and it looks like I broke the harness as the plug doesn't stay in place (and the valet bulb is now out nor does the valet mode work now either) it comes right out and somehow got tangled up with one of the other cords underneath the steering wheel which is probably the cause, I reset all the other connections and it fired right up. The only problem that remains after that is now the check engine light came on as well I'm not sure if that's just something that'll go away or not yet? I figure I should just wait and see until after I drive the car for a bit but i'm curious if my thoughts are correct?

Sounds like one or perhaps both main harness connectors weren't locked in properly the first time round ........

Those valet switches can fall apart if you just look at them the wrong way!

I also had a check engine light come on after replacing dash bulbs. Turned out to be the Multi wire connector was misaligned and not locked on the left side of the cluster.
