Default Changing hit a snag, need to rent balancer puller

I have tried to use the OEM brand with no luck. Any one willing to rent or loan one out. it is service tool number 303-588 and adapter ring number 18g-1437-2

If so or if an one can offer any other suggestions send me a PM.

Just use a universal damper puller and get the thing loose.
Remember to pull a few millimeters and then smack it to loosen.

I believe I have pulled it the few Millimeters. Do I need to remove the puller and then smack it? I so where do i smack it and how big a hammer. My luck this is where I would screw something up.

Yes. I then went out to the garage and removed the puller and tapped it several times on the face with a ball pien hammer and it broke free. So now back to the leak at the norma connection before I crack open the timing cover.

Thank you Motorcarman and Beav!

It appears that the best way to go is rent the Crank Front Pulley Puller for only $50.00 for three weeks from Christophers Foreign Car Parts.com IMHO.
