"CHEAP" Part needed
Today, on my way home I lost a the silver cap for the nut on my revolver style wheel.
Hit a construction zone and "tink tink tink tink" as the thing fell off and bounced down the street. I tried to double back to find it but no luck. Traffic was heavy so I wasn't going to risk my life for it.
I made a trip to the Jaguar dealer down the street, but they didn't have any in stock and to order one would be $36 or so. I'm not cool with that.
If anyone has one, please let me know! Thanks
Jared

If you are talking about the center Jaguar cap $36 is cheep. Try eBay.
Several (most) of my lug nuts stainless steel covers looked bad and did the little tink, tink, tink thing rolling slowly. Checked with the dealer and they wanted $8 each, $160 for the full set.
I took one to the helpful hardware man, found a 6" bolt and nut that matched the lug nut threads and I had a handle to hold the lug nut to a polishing wheel. Sanded the end of a 3/8" dowel to about the contour of the end, cut it off and dropped the 1/2" piece into the hole and used the bolt to push the SS cover off. Quick spray with brake cleaner, some JB Weld and reassembly. After a day of curing put the 8 back on and did another 8, then the remaining 4.
All are now shiny and tight.
I work cheap.

Talking about the silver caps that cover the lug nut. They screw into the end of the lug nut/bolt/assembly dealio there to kind of complete the look rather than leave bare screws and bolts visible.

Are these the same size as the X-type and S-type?
When I got my X-type, the previous owner had gotten pissed at the OEM lugnuts because the caps kept coming off, and the lug wrench didn't fit right without them, so he threw them all away, and replaced them with Autozone specials. They were the right thread pitch, but were conical shaped, not the "mag" style the Jaguar wheels need.
So I need a whole new set of 20 lugnuts. I wasn't going to pay crazy dealer prices, so I found a set at a local junkyard on an XJ. When asked why I wanted a whole set of lugnuts I made the mistake of telling the junkyard guy what the dealer wanted for them.He then decided he wanted $10 each for his used ones. I let him keep them.
Then I heard the S-type were the same as the X-type lugnuts, so I took a chance that the Lincoln LS was also the same. I ordered replacements (dorman brand) from the local autoparts store for a Lincoln LS. They were less than $3 each, and I can't tell them from the original Jaguar ones.
edit; I think it might have been these - http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-24391-611-2291.aspx

X/S Type have a 12 mm X 1.5 pitch, the XK are 1/2 UNF
Adamesh do a set of nuts made from solid so no cap, don't think they are stainless though, look more like plated steel, he sent me one as a sample and I have it on my desk, I will take a pic if you like.
I can do brand new Jaguar for $200 a set, but this wont have lock nuts just 20 lug nuts, and then there's shipping
