Clean Part Load Breather?

Never had reason to remove the LH cover but now I found it it wont come off ...applied reasonable force but no go
Spins around fine. Not exactly sure where to insert the screwdrivers.
Help
SORTED applied brain and the horseshoe clip should be pushed fully in to release the connection.
Passed the 2.5mm drill test and blew down the hose so that's not blocked ...I guess that's ok.
thanks all

It is sort of counter-intuitive - push to unlock.
Curious - I see you have the tool with the barbs on the legs. My car came to me with one on each of the Norma connectors. It seems we're lucky with our early cars as I think it was sold as a 'special tool' for the later ones? A replacement PLB hose doesn't have them.

Can we assume that in addition to undoing the cover screws around the perimeter that you did indeed remove the coil cover to undo the 2 cover screws inline with the spark plugs?

I do not have a horseshoe clip, but similar to Zray's use of screwdriver blades, I use my Harbor Freight picks to disconnect that fitting without causing any further damage from brittleness. (knock on wood!)
