Clear side markers and indicators fitted
Hello all, thought I'd take a moment to post a pic of my 05 (Slate is the exterior color) with my newly fitted clear indicators and reflectors. I know many of you have done this already, but I haven't come across one in my color yet so I thought it might be beneficial for anyone considering doing the project. Had them sitting around since the winter months and finally got around to installing them. Quick and easy, and doing away with the amber really updates the car IMO. Makes it a little sportier too.
Side note, I also fitted clear indicators on my LR3 (Stornoway Gray) that are barely visible in the background. Unlike with the XKs, the clear side indicators were OEM on the last year of the LR3 ('09) and on all LR4s.
Installing upper and lower mesh grilles from Mina, WhiteXKR's triple gauge conversion, an all-leather wheel, and fitting Atlas style 19" staggered alloys w/ black center caps are next. All in my garage... just waiting for some free time. Also will be receiving a thorough detailing this weekend.

Thanks!
I purchased them both from eBay seller 8ru. Adamesh offers clear side reflectors and indicators as well; however, I've heard from others that they aren't a very good fit as they don't follow the curvature of the OEM amber lenses.

Awesome! I think they look especially good on the darker cars. On my car, the rear OEM reflectors are red. I personally like the red in back with the tail lights better than the clear, but it's just a personal preference. I think some of the cars were fitted with Amber in the rear; if that was the case on my car, I'd probably still try and find red ones instead of clear.

Indeed you can. Just be careful when you're taking them in and out if you haven't before. The clips are more stubborn than on the side indicators for some reason; one of mine got bent and it was almost impossible to get out. Make sure to post some pics when you're done!

I used superglue of some sort I had in the garage.. I don't remember the brand. If you go and buy some, look for 2 things. First, make sure it dries clear. Mine didn't, so if you get up close you can see the glue a little. Second, make sure it forms a waterproof seal (mine mentioned this on the packaging). I let them dry overnight before putting them back on the car just to be safe.

My lens kit came with a German made adhesive, cannot find the name (it was almost 4 years ago). FWIW here is the original thread with images and step-by-step instructions: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...art-1-a-40304/

Thanks for the advice!
I found a 2 part epoxy that dries clear and it looks nice.
Wish I saw that step by step guide before I did it lol I cracked the original lenses in the corners a little.
Here are the photos.
I love it in the front, there is an excellent contrast with the black, the rear not so much.

Adamesh clear lens replacement
I finally got around to getting these installed (Canadian car, so originally there were 2 amber lenses on the front and 2 red ones on the back over clear bulbs all around that are constantly on).
I got them from Adamesh, and Geoff was a big help in advance of ordering with any questions I had. The lenses seem to be quite good quality, slightly thicker than the originals and seem much less brittle too. The curve seems exact, but my only complaint is that there are bubbles in the corner where the back part fits into the ridge of the new lens cover, so I had to scrape those away to get a perfect fit and whatever the lens material is made of turns slightly white when cut/chipped away although it's almost unnoticeable when installed.
I put some pics here because I wasn't really sure what to expect - I basically destroyed the original lenses getting them off; then, I sanded down any remaining orange or red plastic from the back piece, and also to give it a bit of a rougher surface to glue it together.
I used the glue ('cement'?) that was included with the lenses, and so far it's seemed to work really well (although it hasn't sat through freezing storage temperatures yet). It didn't dry too fast so small adjustments could be made by shifting the pieces, although it fits together pretty easily. I actually clamped mine together in three spots and left them sit overnight to get the back flush with the innermost edge of the lens cover, and it's seemed to fit great.
Since the original bulbs were clear, I just replaced them with amber coloured filament bulbs - since they're always on, I didn't bother with LEDs or anything fancy. And then, put them back on and it looks awesome! (pic below was while running, so you see the orange glow coming through).

I'm thinking of colour coding the back ones black or going red, I'm undecided.
