Clunk from Reverse to Drive

Since I bought my XK8 a few weeks ago , it has developed a loud clunk from the Diff area when shifting from reverse to drive when stationary. From underneath it sounded to be coming from the Diff but could also be heard clearly anywhere along the hollow drive/prop shaft.
After a few minutes investigating and wondering how I was going to get a 2nd hand diff shipped from the UK to Australia, I found that the bolts that connect the drive shaft to the diff were all loose at the mating flange !
So far it's the cheapest thing I have had to fix on this XK8.
