Default convertible headliner question

so I just bought the topsonline replacement headliner for my 2000 and read the directions a few times. I am quite comfortable giving this a go but does anyone have a clue how to get the trim off the back window?

I need to remove the plastic trim and sew or glue it to the new headliner but I cannot figure out how to get it off without breaking the clips.

Any advise would be great, I don't want to break it and introduce another creek or rattle to the car.

Thanks Steve, I read that earlier today, I just can't figure out how to actually detach the trim piece. Even the TSB doesn't explain that.

I wasn't clear, I can't figure out how to get the trim away from the window!

It is frustrating, but it was so long ago when I did it that I do not remember.

Do you have the fabric released yet outside of the frame so you can see the plastic frame? I am pretty sure it was clear once you have access to the frame behind the fabric. Removing the window trim is not the starting point of the project.
