Default Correct upstream O2 sensor for 99 XK8

My first question here:
I KNOW there is a thread here that gives the correct part # and brand for upstream O2 sensors for a 1999 XK8 VIN ... CO38835. I have seen it recently but after a LONG search cannot re locate it.

I know I am new as a REGISTERED member now, but it seems I cannot phrase a question that the local search engine deems worthy of an answer. Maybe a hint would help?

Also, I have seen it asked herein, but never answered, wouldn't there be a FAR CHEAPER way to source an identical O2 sensor under a Ford -- or other brand -- part number?
And yes, I am ANOTHER victim of the cheap, eBay "correct sensor" misinfo; twice! Jus' sayin.'

Hep me, hep me?😰

Also to share another Vicitim's experience and really bitter and hard-learned a lesson: "Don't be cheap on O2 sensor or Brake parts"! & "Only buy Manufacturer's OEM O2 sensors" not a compatible one, even if your mechanic says go for it...
Not following this rule and you'll pay a lot more at the end, having a lot more headaches as a bonus additionally!!

But if anyone has a better experience, as another XK8 owner, I'm all ears.

denso 2349016. if you want to be cheap you can use the sensor from the x-type, 2349029. the wires are a little longer though

Well, MANY THANKS for the info, but I did it again. I thought I had the problem solved from all I had read and impatiently ordered 2 Denso 234-4798 sensors from Amazon which assured me they "fit." But I guess the REAL question is if they will WORK!!

Apparently, I should have waited. Just got notification that they shipped today, but I can always send them back, I guess and re oder correct ones.

Is there ANY CHANCE that "234-4798" will work???

Not worth the costly risk because they probably will throw OBDII codes when installed in the wrong application and once you screw them into place and fire the engine up, you will not be able to return them....

HA HA HA, YA I know ... NOW!
ALL that reading etc. only to find out I missed the word "rear!"
Any way, I notified the shipper I'd be returning the first ones when they arrived and I ordered new ones at $92 ea.
They're the Bosch and all the reviews were positive.
Thanks for the input.

What I have gleaned from a this is that the 1999 XK8s used a new wideband (open loop) sensor into 2002 sometime and one BETTER be VERY careful to order the CORRECT one regardless of price. Otherwise you will CERTAINLY end up wasting money, ESPECIALLY on labor!
