I go along with Itspec60 and would use the manufacturers spec.

Hi, Brihawk & itspec60.

Much appreciate your feedback, gents. Itspec60 is right about the Coventry's website. I don't know exactly where is the rep getting the 30mm recommendation, but I really can care less. I am going to confirm the specs today and hopefully post before and after shots in less then two weeks should anyone be interested.

Best,
Danny

Hi gents!
Thank you all for advice. I received my 18" Hornets on Fri (3 day shipping time = credit to Victoriawheels ebay seller). Installed of Fri and below is the pic with new look . My car is British Racing Green, but my camera is only phone 5mp unit hence the almost black hue...
Btw, they sent me 30mm offset anyway, but all is swell...perfect fit .
My immediate observation is increased comfort of ride (no idea why though), and better gas mileage . Hope some of you like it. Thanks all for great help!
Danny.

Ps: would look better with nice villa in the background such as the one behind Brihawk's car earlier in the thread

They look good.... I like them..... To complete the look, lower the back and a rear light conversion with the trunk plinth..... That would complete it.... Just my opinion of course

They look excellent.
XKRacer is right about the lowering, may be my next project.

Were you pleased w/ the fit as it relates to filling the wheel well ie tire not appearing to be set in too far from wheel well opening in body?

Thanks for this thread, am considering exactly the same wheels and questions for a 2003 XKR convertible.

Thanks, gents. Btw XKRacer, taillights are next on the list as per suggestion with kit waiting in a garage for couple weeks already (thanks to paragondesignuk.com, of course)...so far I am unable to find someone with proper tools who could put them to work for me .

Now just to figure out how to keep those tiny holes along the diameter dirt free

Hi there, mate!
I am extremely happy with the wheels offset as it leaves plenty of room inside the well for even taller tires (comfort preference) while pretty much sitting flush with the body on outside. I am going to take some more pictures for you tomorrow to illustrate how it sits in regard to body's outerline.
Btw, I can't imagine that 20mm offset would put the wheel much further out due to the 10mm (1cm) difference being in my opinion quite insignificant. Some members earlier in the thread actually opted for 20mm offset without complains .

Wish I had enough to redo the brakes as well, but then again who does not...
Best,
Danny

Hey, TM Juan,
below are two more shots attempting to illustrate the outer fit of the wheels. I am confident that 20mm offset (would put wheels 10mm more outward compared to my 30mm offset) would fit quite well as others reiterated earlier in the thread. All you got to do when these are on is to get your calipers painted .
Hope this helps,
Danny.

Hi there!
I see sklimii already too care of you, but just to enhance your options I found set of four 19" on ebay (set of 4 20" also available):

19x8 5 Coventry Hornet 5x120 65 5x4 75 30mm Gloss Silver Mirror Rims Wheels 19" | eBay

or there's virtually every possible size/paint combo available through discount tire - change the area to suit your need (you could get real good price if you look for coupons online )...

Look for Coventry Hornet custom wheels by size in the Flagstaff Area - Discount Tire

Hope this helps...I still love my wheels and judging from comments at gas stations others do as well.
Btw, they're truly a breeze to clean from inside which if done each carwash keeps the car looking close to new .
