If you can send me a profile pic of your car and a profile of the wheel - I can photoshop them in for you.

thanks Rothwell - I googled but guess I should have looked at the images rather than the websites which were vendors.

Steve, I have thought about the same wheels to replace the revolvers on mine. However, when I saw some pictures, they looked better for me on the newer models. Have you considered the Coventry Hornet's as an option? Decide for yourself.. Picture borrowed from CarId

it's actually between those 2 styles. Other than the double 5's, I'm not too impressed with the factory styles for our model.

I have also looked at the Whitleys, however, the thought of trying to clean brake dust off of those skinny spindles quickly discouraged me. I wipe down my car nearly every day and clean my double 5's (at least the fronts) at least as often. It would require a lot of time and pinched fingers to keep these looking nice on my XKR as there is so much front axle dust.

tberg good point on the brake dust but it hasn't been too bad since I switched to ceramic pads. I've been looking at the Whitleys more and more although if I can find a nice set of chrome double 5's.........

Agreed, they really suit the lines of the car beautifully. They're definitely on my 'one day' list...

MRomanik,
Those wheels look great, show off the calipers, and must be really easy to clean. Nice choice!

MRomanik - the hornets definitely look great - gives it an aggressive stance compared to the coventry's.

Mark - love the coventry's on your coupe compared to the vert posted above. The one's on the convertible look like the high silver vice chrome. i think the chrome would be a better choice in finish for the sapphire blue I have.

the double5's seem to fall in the middle of these 2 as far as style/aggessive look

I installed Coventry wheels back in September. Here's my post:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-pics-102767/

I think the wheels transform the look of the car - giving it a more sporty and exotic appearance. I got the 20".- its the way to go IMO.

The only negative is the brake dust on the front wheels. I have low dust pads installed, but the front wheels still need an occasional cleaning at least once a week (also depending on how many miles you drive and the weather)

duh - thanks for the reminder on your post - I even commented on it. wonder why it didn't come up when I searched. Definitely like the look. Not sure about 20's. Right now I have the 17" Lamina's which are ok but was thinking of 18's when I make the shift also looking at the Mina lowering springs.

I added the ceramic pads back in Feb but even so still have to clean weekly - mine is a daily driver all weather conditions (except for snow - hardly ever have any of that here)

My biggest concern with large diameter wheels was hitting a pothole and damaging the tire and the wheel. But I took a chance on it, because I like the look (I know, I'm vain). What helped IMO, is the Nitto Motivo tires. They're on the softer side. While definitely not the tires of choice for canyon racing (soft sidewalls), they are phenomenal for comfort of daily driving and also sustaining a hit from an occasional pothole. Last weekend I was in New York City and hit a pothole pretty bad. I thought that I definitely sustained serious wheel damage. But no, not even a little dent on the wheel or a bubble on the tire - what a relief. I feel that I made an excellent decision in both, wheels and tires. What's more important, the Jag looks like a million bux ;-)

MRomanik or DevSpider - do the Jaguar centercaps fit in the coventry's or did you use the coventry centers?
