Cruise not available message on adaptive cruise model... I'm an idiot solution

I recently performed a fair amount of work on the '05 XKR including installing a 7" android unit from Atoto with wireless Android Auto and a reverse camera, and replacing front springs, lower shock mounts and parts of the upper strut mounts to address the sagging nose and associated front tire wear with steering wheel shimmy at 65 mph+.
On my second drive after the work, which went quite well all in all, I got a dreaded cruise unavailable message with amber light after selecting set speed. I've been researching all the worst case scenarios and fearing the worst. After checking fuses and visual condition of the radar unit, I decided to check the position of the forward alert switch.
Yep, it was turned off somehow (I must have bumped it with a knee or something.) Crisis averted and all is well. Check the switch first, dummy! Doh!
Man I do love this car.
