Cylinder head gasket replacement

Cylinder head gasket replacement
Hello - I am looking at a 2013 XK8 to buy and it has had consistent servicing on it since new but it only has 60000 miles on it and it had an A/C compressor replaced and a cylinder head gasket replaced. A/C doesn't bother me (no like new), but the CH gasket seems odd... any ideas or similar experiences from anyone out there? It was replaced by a dealer so maybe all is OK now? Thoights? Thank you!

- You posted this in the wrong section. A 2013 XK is an aluminum-bodied X150, not a steel-bodied X100.
- A replaced head gasket probably means that the car overheated. My guess, the 5.0 V8 in the X150s is known for weak water pumps. Is the water pump not in the service history? It's probably OK now, but do look for the telltale signs of a bad head gasket: Oil in coolant, or the coolant in the oil, sweet-smelling exhaust, altered coolant pH, loss of coolant or oil with one or more of the previously mentioned symptoms, to name a few.
