Default Dangling exhaust, buy new part or go to muffler shop?

This morning on my commute, I heard a knock coming from the rear that began after a big road hump. At first I thought it was the rear shock mounts or lower shock bush which are on my to do list. After inspecting the car when I arrived, it turned out my driver's side exhaust is dangling from at least as far back as the rearmost muffler. My exhaust is not stock; I don't have the before axle mufflers and my center resonator was substituted by an X-pipe. The rest of the setup looks stock.

Now I was wondering, do I need to buy a new bracket, or is a muffler and exhaust shop likely to have a suitable part that they could install?

The rubber hangers split and drop the exhaust. Look underneath and see which one. Order one. Pry off the old 1 after spraying with wd40 and install the new 1 spraying it too. They slip on easily then

I guess I will do the coat hanger trick in the meanwhile. Doesn’t WD40 shorten the lifespan of the rubber?

After school I had a good look under the car and was surprised. The rubber was intact, but the metal bar that goes from it to the muffler was nowhere to be found on the driver's side.

I took it to a local muffler shop and the guy welded a new bar for $20. When I asked him about upgrading my stock behind the rear axle mufflers, he said that they are actually Flowmasters, or at least imitation of Flowmasters. I thought they were stock.

Oh, that’s good to know. Now I know not to panic if a little drop of oil lands on a rubber part.
