Default Darned kids!!

Well I noticed the other day that my front bumper badge came up missing while it was at the shop...the chrome base is intact but some inner city youth figured the green badge itself would make a nice pendant for their necklace..(tell ya what I'd do w/that necklace if I see them!!).

Anyway, could not find anything used and quite frankly do not want to spend $120 for a new replacement.

Anyone have a used one for sale for a reasonable price?? I checked out the classified section already....if not I may just glue a silver dollar in the base, heck that would be cheaper than the real thing...or a casino chip..or maybe that three star I have left over from an old Mercedes...yeah that would do it.

Ok you guys are responsible for what I do next. And I will post lots of pix here to infuriate you all if I go that alternate route.

Thanks

I too had my inner badge go MIA. I assumed it just came un-glued and fell off. If some jabony want the badge I would think he would have pried the whole thing off? Anyway, I too did not want to pay $120. So I put search query into EBay and waited a few weeks. A new one popped up for $50 so I grabbed it.

Patience should do the trick.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Doubt very seriously that a kid stole a jaguar emblem for a necklace! In 1985 maybe..... But then they were into Benz, Caddy emblems.... I've never seen a leader necklace nowhere!

The adhesive more than likely didn't hold up after all those years crap happens... That being sad eBay is probably your next best step.... Or browse the net and jaguar forums.....

Good luck

Well in the 70's we did like the Benz's emblem. They were spring loaded at that time.

I lost a few of them as well.

Too much of a coincidence for it to fall off the only time it was left outside in an inner city lousy...but hey it is Holiday season..so I'll let the l'il hooligans off this time.

Leaping cat?? Hmm...might work, I have one laying around...maybe that old smiley face button I have from the 80's......
