Default DCR Floor Mats Write Up

As many of you know, Jaguar no longer makes ivory XK8 floor mats, at least for my MY 2000. I opted for DCR mats rather than generic ones. I’m quite happy, I purchased them for a little over $200 USD (including shipping to the US) on 8/22, and it is now 9/16. Here are some pictures, they’re almost too nice to step on and they greatly improve the interior of the car.

Thanks Dave!

You are right, almost too nice to put your feet on. Might have to put a plastic cover on them like Grandma did with her furniture.

I hated sitting in those plastic covers in the summer. My skin and the plastic would become one in a sweaty affair.

In 1967 I purchased a 1956 Yellow Caddy from a old lady while stationed in San Diego, for $500. It came with green cloth and green vinyl trim seats covered in plastic. After discharge I drove it to Seattle and kept it until the early eighty's. Removed the plastic covering and sold it for $2500, along with my 56 Buick convertible to purchase an E-Type. Hated the vinyl but it served it's purpose. The interior looked brand new. .We called it "The Yellow Submarine".

Bigbully, it looks like you edited your post, but I still see it in my email. It’s a little dirty, but the carpet underneath looks fine. Could you explain your concerns?

Lloyds Mats Store - Made in the USA

DCR Auto Parts - United Kingdom Company

Customeim - Ireland Company with manufacturing facilities and warehouses located in Asia.

GGbailey - Swiss company

For me, it's down to these 4 in no particular order.

I am going to have to talk to the final one to end my confusion after reading through their web sites and to end the questions that I have.

I recently bought the GGBailey mats. Good quality, and pretty quick on delivery. I would buy from them again.
