Dealer review
Not sure what forum to put this, so will put it in the forum of the model I recently bought my 02 XKR conv...
While searching for a sporty car for me (71) and son (18), we came across the ad for the Jag... With heaps of encouragement from my son, I went and got my first glimps of what was soon to be addressed as "Black Beauty". The sales guy was low key and very helpful. The deal was quite generous including the trade-in and they got me really low finance rate. After a few days on-the-road, she started giving me warnings of something wrong. Took it back to the dealer (Jaguar of Tacoma). While I enjoyed the lounge and snacks, they gave her a good going over and found several faults. The coolant holding tank, a drivers door internal switch and a very expensive ($2500) part that needed replacement. The owner of the dealership gave the go-ahead to replace everything at NO COST to me, and even loaned me an 06 Jag XJR8L to drive while "Black Beauty" was getting her operation! She is purring like the "you know what" now! All in all it has been a really good buyer-dealer relationship so far, and you can bet I am happy to recommend them to anyone wanting a new or preloved Jag!! BTW, I got a free Jag baseball cap as a bonus. Seriously, they didn't ask me to write anything or offer any incentive... just thought it would be nice to give a dealer and their Service department some nice compliments.

Very good of you to credit a stand up dealer. Some of us, myself included, get invested in bashing the bad ones and passing on horror stories.
I have occasionally complained about service, most particularly parts cost, but the folks at Jag Tampa and Orlando are 1st rate. BTW, that Mercedes dealer in Naples FL has a great GM.

I agree that it's refreshing (and important) to hear the positive dealership experiences.
Industry research revealed, years ago, that an unhappy dealership customer will tell his tale of woe to six people. A happy dealership customer will tell only one or two people. Bad news always travels fast. Of course the internet is a massive multiplier.
Cheers
