DIY Fixed the annoying "Low cooling level" warning :)
Hi Guy's
share this as it may be useful to someone who has the same issue as me.
finally fixed the annoying "Low cooling level" warning. share some pic's of the
job, it was possible to swap the old cooling water level sensor without removing the expansion tank.
You must loosen the first bolt, wickle it out as much as possible and then "feel" the sensor hole in the bottom of the tank with Your fingers, then with patience You can carefully remove the old and gently press the new one in place.
I also replace the bolt to a more standard one, see pic's below.
new cooling sensor
new cooling level sensor
previous owners "fix" !?
the sensor's connector has a wire clip, pull it out, see new pic
wire clip for connector
new sensor in place, it's tight so patience to get it in place
old sensor and new bolt
final result - no more "low cooling level warning"
