I'll check it out, but it's a given...Everytime 2-2 for several cycles and on solid. Hot/Cold it doesn't matter. But I still think its worth exploring.

Thanks Matt and everyone else. The 2-2 light has terrorized me for two years. Of course, the thing that is so maddening is the intermittent nature. Took hue seat out today to check and clean connectors. They all appeared to be in good nick. There were some latte stains on the carpet next to the seat belt buckle. I'm hoping the crapload of contact cleaner I sprayed in there did the trick.

I will say, the two plastic holders for the seatbelt sensor were compressing the wire significantly. If it's not the coffee spill, I'm betting it's the crimped wire. Removing the seat can be done in five minutes if I have to do it again. Worth checking out the connectors and cleaning them.
After two drives, the 2-2 flash is gone. We'll have to see if it stays that way.

Talking Fault Was From The Driver's Side, Side Airbag.

Took the Jag in to Aristocrat Motors, our regional Jaguar dealer. Purpose was to replace the transmission pan gasket. I asked them to check the fault codes before erasing them. The 2-2 airbag fault came from the driver's side, door side, side airbag. I didn't do anything to clean this connector. So, it was another connector upstream OR simply the act of taking the seat out and flipping it [her] over on the seatback [belly] that cured the fault.
Three and a half weeks without a fault so far. I've decided to keep her.
