Do I need to disconnect battery for repairs?
Quick question?
Need to change the coolant hose from the throttle body to the three way connector at the end of the octopus hose. Also will change connector as well while I have it apart. I need to disconnect the lower electrical connector on the throttle body for better access to make the repair.
Do I need to disconnect the battery to remove a connector or two?

That is a common misconception with a Jaguar. Most of the electrical on a Jag is switched to ground and always has a live terminal when the battery is connected. Other than changing the oil and adding fluids the safest way is to always disconnect the battery before plugging or unplugging any electrical connector.
