Default Do You Have A Weeping P/S Reservoir?

Just a quickie. I haven't seen any posts on this, so I figured maybe this would help somebody and save a few $$$ in the bargain.

If your P/S fluid reservoir is always slightly damp and collects gunk, you probably have a hardened o-ring. Replacing it is a 5 minute job and results in one less leak.

I looked but the seal isn't listed as a separate part in any of the Jag resources I could find. But, it's the same reservoir as used on the E46. Get a small pick and finesse the o-ring out of its groove. It'll be rock hard and may be difficult to see, as it will have become black and flat and will look for all the world like part of the cap. Once out, slip on the new one and replace the cap. Taa daa!!

The BMW P/N is 32411128333. Only Uro was available when I went to order it, but whatever. I Installed it and now the P/S reservoir is a lot drier.
