Default Dog Bite

A rather vicious dog bit my xk8 the other day!

a tooth did this damage

the dent from the jaws force

underside of fender lip, I guess he was having a bad day.
I don't know if I can live with the visual damage but it sure is an interesting talking point.

be safe out there!

I guess it could have been worse - it could have been your arm or leg !

Sorry to see that. He’s lucky, sometimes the Jags bite back!

I'd report this to insurance just for the entertainment value.

I think it does have commercial value, I'll contact Farmers!
I have never seen such a vicious dog, ever. He (I think) charged down the roadway toward my car, I swerved to avoid him/her and slowed down...he/she spun around and picked up pace and while baring teeth lunged at my front fender...bang...then again at the rear fender...I slowed to make certain he/she was alright and then he/she came charging again...I took off.
Imagine being on a bicycle!
I dare say he/she would have leapt into the interior had the top been in a down position.
Life goes on, I need to repair my front lower bumper area for some scraping, when I do I'll handle the bite mark.

Well after all, dogs do hate cats!

Sorry for your run-in with the pooch.

Based on the people I know, I reckon that's a human bite...

I'll need to avoid that spot next time I come to Austin.....I surely don't want to get into a "Jag War" with a "Texas Puppy Dog"!

I can speak to this.
I was stationary on my bicycle in a public street in an industrial area of town when I was a teenager and a German Shepherd came out of nowhere and decided to see what my *** cheek tasted like.
That's what happens when you're on a bicycle.
It is not recommended.

I hear you, I was sitting on my bicycle one day when a Dalmatian walked over to me and sank her teeth into my forearm (to the bone) and walked away. The owner was beside herself, I guess the dog thought I might be a problem...I was @ a $500 problem!
