First you need to keep the door module to control the windows/ and security. what I did was mechanically disconnect the door solenoid but leave its wires in place and then attach a solenoid from the kit to work the door locks ..it simulates the key
Easy to do only one hole to drill but then you need a brain to disable the alarm and maintain the horn function ie a diode in the right place.

I Purchased a door control module thinking that would fix the issue, no such luck. I have spoken to Auto Reserve about what the problem could be, but they are reluctant to sell me anymore parts until i get the car diagnosed. The common fault he said was the door latch micro switch, but at £250 for the latch, he recommended having the car checked first. Someone on the forum will know their way around the electrics and can tell me how to test the micro switch. Many thanks. Anthony.

Yes I agree change the microswitches for new but I have had switches break away from there mounting (window drop sw) and epoxy and thin cable ties. The whole door lock thing is a nightmare in the end I detached the solenoid and used the door key for a while before replacing the solenoids with a £20 kit of 4 solenoids /controller and two remotes

These are the ones you want. You will need to bend the flat steel section to the orginals but it's not hard. Cut the blue wire, you don't need that.
