Sounds more like an electronic issue..do not do any mechanical adjustments yet or you might create bigger headaches.

-How are you doing the 'reset'

-What is the voltage across your battery terminals?

Is the door shut when you do the reset procedure?

Also, check your battery engine off with a digital meter...anything less than 12.5 volts would be suspect.

Well known problem. The "Door Open" Switch in the lock assembly (inside the door) has failed. A number of posts on this. There are several switches on the Lock Assembly.

Agreed, but a battery check is prudent before diving into the door.

When you open the door do the interior lights come on, and do you get a message in the display that says the door is open? If not, you have a bad switch in the door latch. I have a video which shows how to replace it.

You don't need to buy the whole latch. The switch itself is available separately. The part number is in another thread somewhere.

I would have bet the ranch that the battery was getting weak. That's the way my windows acted when the guage showed less then 11 volts with ignition on and dropped to 10 volts while cranking. New battery problem solved. Jack

The hardest part about removing the latch is getting the rods that go from the outside handle down to the latch disconnected. The ends are made of plastic and they just snap on to the latch mechanism, but it is hard to pop them off, and I ended up breaking one of the plastic bits in the process. I was able to repair it simply by drilling a hole in the plastic piece, then I lined up the hole I had drilled with the hole in the lever on the latch and I zip tied them together.

I actually like that big font we used above. I'm apparently going to need reading glasses soon.
