Double Din In XKR - Got it to Work!
#42
I thought it might be too busy but I have a spare cover and will be doing a mock up (just got some more graphite in) today. I'm out of the black though so don't want to pull it off until I'm sure it will be better. I'm also going to try a Jaguar logo in the midddle of the cover before swapping it out. Getting that damn cover off the dash is easy getting it out of the car is way too much effort so I'm having to do the wrap while sitting in the car seat. That's not easy and since it looks good want to make sure I have something better before messing with it.

I like that last black on graphite look...if you like the passenger air bag cover in graphite, you'll be forced to do the instrument cluster surround too...and that'll be almost too much graphite if you can imagine that.
Getting a small 'JAGUAR' and/or leaper badge on the air bag cover, lower right corner like ours have, should complete the look.
Look what this one seller offers...a small (55mm x 13mm) chrome JAGUAR on a carbon fiber badge, slightly raised for depth. Could be a perfect match for your interior.

Agree with this. On the one hand I understand your remark about "too busy" but on the other hand it will look more co-ordinated if you have the same treatment across the entire dashboard. I don't like logos though, esp aftermarket. JMHO.
