Drivers Seat Forward and Back Not Working!
Hey all,
My drivers seat all of the sudden stopped going forward and back. All other power controls work. When I push the switch to go forward or backward I can hear the seat click. Any ideas? It was just working fine a few days ago. I have the memory set up for me and my wife. Now it is stuck in her position which is a little uncomfortable for me as it is too far forward. Is there anyway to manually move the seat back?

Pale, I don't have an answer for you, but this may be useful.
Back when I was studying problems with my steering wheel tilt, I went underneath and found the screw mechanism that turns to move the steering wheel.
Here's why I'm telling you this. When I tried to manually turn the screw it wouldn't budge. One day I decided to unplug the motor its connected to and try again - turned easily now!
Your seat has a similar screw underneath, if you ever decide to try to manually turn the screw, unplug the main connector. You may find the same thing I did.
The fact that the memory will not move it tells us the switch is good. Probably the motor, or an open wire to the motor.
Its easy enough to take the seat out and look. Its either a T40 or T41 bolt head. Want me to look ? The tool us out but across the house. Just ask. Hey you might get lucky and see an open wire bafter taking the seat out.
Might even be able to adjust it midway between you and your wife whole sourcing the motor.
