DSC system fault

It happened right after startup. No other messages at that time but before I put it away for the winter I was getting trans fault. Also there were no start issues. Not that the starter wouldn't turn but more the alarm was on and someone was trying to steal it. Click noise in relays near the battery. I have to disconnect the battery and do a hard reset to fix it. New battery and charging system is fine. Battery always on a tender when parked. It's not my daily driver.

Is your traction control button on or off at the console?

Mine gives me a DSC caution if it sits for over a week. Will either come up with the engine ignition on before start or just after starting. I usually just drive it until it warms up, shut it off and restart and it goes away.
It is always on a battery tender in the garage so I have no idea why it does it. I'm guessing a voltage drop somewhere but am lost why it is only after being idle a week or two

Hi Guys....I may have the answer to the DSC fault message...Mine did this and I checked online to see what it meant and for any solutions.
Advice was to undo the DSC sensors on top of the wheel hubs (one per wheel) and remove the sensors.....they get gummed up with road dirt and then send a fail signal to the computer which gives you the DSC fault on the display.
I cleaned them with nail brush and soapy water and hey presto...the fault disappeared and never returned! That was 8 months ago.
It is an easy job and I managed all 4 wheels in about an hour....and yes...they were gummed up with black gunge.
Good Luck!
