electrical dilemma (suspect alternator) - RESOLVED
good way to start the morning - cruising at 75mph down the interstate only to see dash lights dim - looked at voltage down to 10.5 and dropping, airbag light flashed, gear box fault flashed, pulled off the I and into gas station (coasted into spot) and shut her down. Waited a few and car started but voltage immediately dropped so shut her down now waiting on tow.

thanks me too as I was really thinking about trying to push it to work until the gearbox fault and a few other lights flashed decided against that thought. Shop ran diags - battery low but says he can charge the battery, but actual alternator failed - I guess that is why it sounded like I had a supercharger installed yesterday when I started her up. Will be around $520 parts/labor for replace and will have done this afternoon - so can't complain since I checked Advanced and AutoZone web sites - $250 up to over $500 for reconditioned alternators.
