Engine Light came on AND Restricted Performance

THANKS H20Boy. I appreciate your time to answer. Reason I never mentioned the OBDii code I got PO107 code is because I wanted to see if the Jag dealer pulled the same code, and they did not. I too, thought it was very strange how the car just died when the mechanic had the car, and yet I drove 60 miles to the Jag dealer and the car drove perfectly. The shop where the mechanics work is all locked up and even the customer cannot see their car while it's being worked on. I thought that was strange.
I will ask the mechanic for the parts and the box, and I'll tell my husband to ask the mechanic why the code PO107 never showed on their test.
Sorry if I sound a bit confused, but I am and I do appreciate all the help everyone gives me here. Happy Holidays!

Final report from the mechanic and work performed
OK, spent the whole day today at the Aston Martin Jaguar Dealer in Tamp, FL.
I had a good talk with the mechanic and this is what he told me.
He pulled the codes: 0171 & 0174
He suspected the fuel pressure was low. Ran a vacuum check and that was within range. Checked the ‘trim’ and found that at 18, told me it was supposed to be no higher than 8. Cleared the computer codes and took the car for a test drive to put a load on the engine, hoping that the control unit would reset itself and bring the trim to 8 or less. During the test drive the fuel pump failed. That was yesterday.
From yesterday afternoon to 4 pm today, he replaced the fuel pump, filter, ring sealing. Had to pry off the ‘top thru connector’ and the ‘pin’ was bent, so he replaced the ‘flange-evap loss’.
Retested and trim is 6 & 4 percent and still ‘trimming’.
Parts replaced
pump fuel
filter
ring-sealing
flange-evap loss
I have put a ‘______’ by the words I don’t know what they mean, but you guys would know the mechanical terminology.
Thanks for all of your help and advise. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
