Any recommendations of Motor reconditioners for the XK8 4.0, wish to purchase a complete engine ready to refit to vehicle

 

Although I have lived in Noosa I dont know of any auto shops. Can you tell us the milage and why it needs replacing as I have the same model

 

He! PB, Peter here on Bribie, are you in the USA or Coventry? I am guessing I only need Guide seals, but as labour costs are high here $180/ hr and I have
several jobs on the go, I thought i would farm this one out. But by the time the seals are done, the costs are say A$4000 and who knows what else i will find now or 6 mths down the road.
I have seen costs of US$6000 for a full motor full overhaul out Mi. leaves me a spare to look at some time later. Never know the US$ may drop shortly, a recession that will not happen, so Joe says
