Engine replacement 1997 XK8
Hi everyone. I have a 1997 XK8 that I did a really stupid thing with and now I am looking for some help. Well, the motor died on me, looks like a timing belt. The dealer wanted like 18K to replace the motor, for a car I spent 23K on. I have been a mechanic for about 10 years or so, and I figured I could get the job done myself and save about $13000. Well, I got a new "rebuilt" motor, upgraded to 2003 specs, and it looks great... on the floor. I have started removing the old motor and ordered one of these repair manual CD's online. The CD is worthless and now I am stuck looking for the repair manual to get the thing done right. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A REPAIR MANUAL??? Haynes and all those places don't make them for the XK8 and I can't seem to even find a pirated version for sale, not that I condone that sort of thing. It is March 23d right now, and I need the car done by the beginning of April. I need diagrams for the electrical and vacuum lines, torque specs for the intake, water pump, flex plate (flywheel) and various other parts. If anyone can help, please hurry. My number is 702-289-9488 if you have anything that can help me out. I have very little money at the moment (I am enlisted AirForce).

Thanks,
Brett
