ENGINE SEAL
Hey,
I have an 02 XKR and for some reason the same engine seal keeps blowing. I was wondering if I was the only one having this problem and if there is better way to remedy this instead of paying the dealership $800 each time it happens. This is the second time its happened in two months. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: ENGINE SEAL
Also if the dealer replaced it, it is covered by 1 year 12000 mile warranty on parts and labour. If you paid for it second time within those parameters, get your money back. Jaguar will pay for the repair if a factory part fails within that time frame. If it keeps leaking, have them keep fixing it on their dime.
If you are talking about the front crank seal.....if it keeps leaking, possible they damaged cover taking it out to begin with.
Had one the other day that another dealer had gouged the cover removing crank seal. Had to replace cover.
