I must admit that I have never tried the standard XK seats, it's just that I was slightly disappointed by the Recaros. They look SOOOO comfy in the photo above - especially in ivory (I know, stupid, the colour doesn't affect the comfort...) - but for me the headrest is way too far back, there's no knee-bolster adjustment and the lateral support isn't what I thought it would be.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them, but if I had paid $3000 for them on the car new, I'd be pretty annoyed

I wonder if it there's been flood damage, no pics of the trunk/boot, engine compartment etc.

I have an 03 S-Type R (450+ modded hp) and was considering trading her in for the 06 XKR advertised for $19,400 in Virginia. I spoke with them the other day and left with the feeling they were elusive as to determining if the car had been in a predicament to warrant $8000 below book. On Monday I test drove the black 05 XKR selling in Queens, NY (Cars.com) for $22,500...Junk. The air bag warning light was on as well as a CATS failure message. By the paint detail it was obvious she had been in a few skirmishes but with a clean CarFax, the dealer looked like a shifty looking crook. I told him that most car accidents are not reported on Carfax. I bet the Virginia XKR suffered a similar predicament. Unless they budge a bit below $19k, don't buy it.

LOL! Close. The actor who developes the bogus spy routine (behind wheel of Corvette), in my opinion did a better job than both Arnold and Jamie Lee.

Bill Paxton was awesome in "Aliens" (the second Alien movie). He's an underrated actor.

I think I like them/they fit better because I'm shorter. I'm 5-7, so it may just be me. lol
