Unfortunately, that site is not very active. That being said, I'm sure that there will be more Jag Group Rides sometime or other. The more Jag Fans the better, as far as I am concerned.
Take care,

Thanks Brian. I probably wouldn't "fit" into a maxperformance group - I'm definitely a user, not an enhancer. I have joined the local SF Bay Area JAG community, and they are beginning to announce some interesting (and fun) day trips - just saw the vid and thought they might be a local group of just xk8/xkr folks I should know of. Keep up the good dialogs guys, I like to read it - even if I don't understand it all! DaleD

I have installed a K&N filter in the stock airbox and a set of Arden sport mufflers on the rear. You can hear it a bit but not a whole lot. It is more satisfying when the top is down however. I don't think it supplies any more scoot however.

If your putting any kind of aftermarket exhaust system on, you've got to remove the resonators. Makes all the difference if your going for the sound I hope your going for.

Good luck with it. In any case, I'm sure that you'll like it much more than the O.E.M. setup!

You would be much better off with Normans intake pipe, & leave the air box stock. The Mina system will draw warm air, you will notice the decrease in power when pulling away from a light in the warm weather. You will get a bit of roar from the intake but no power increase. You can make a fresh air intake from silicone hose for a few hundred dollars.

Agree with JAXKR, the only place where this type of hot air intake works is on the dyno with the hood open.

Yes my middle large muffler is gone. Each bank runs from the each cat to a resonator to the muffler. Not anywhere near as loud as the mina or other systems are. Just a nice growl when you get on it.

I have not tried it but I would guess if I did away with the resonators it would be much louder but I'm not up for a constant drone while cruising. My Vette is loud enough for that.
