Default Faint beep sound

2006 XK8 - Can anyone tell me if they know what this is, sometimes on the highway when I change lanes I hear a faint bloop sound it's not my imagination and it drives me crazy, it doesn't happen on the street and it doesn't happen all the time on the highway, only sometimes going at a higher speed.

Does your car have front sensor alerts? If you turn them off the beeping will likely go away

Might beep the famous transmission squeak if it's a boop sound not a beep. Most XK8's do this, nothing wrong will not hurt anything and a fluid change might correct it.

Default record the sound

Post the recording, we may be able to tell from the sound. For me the sound was coming from my wife, it went away when I dropped below 90 and stopped trying to take corners on 2 wheels. Go figure?

It is a bloop sound very faint not real loud and it seems to only happen when I steer to the left or the right so you may be right, thanks!

I'm not sure about the front sensor alerts, do you mean wheel sensors?

Yelp, search transmission squawk. It happens when the car downshifts from 3rd to 2nd I think, might be 4th to 3rd. Anyway it's just the drums in the transmission being tight and causes a sound when they release. A fresh fuild change often corrects the problem but other than an annoyance it does not heart anything.
