Finally found the clunking noises!!

My car has been bugging me for a while with a couple of occasional random clunks.... one from the left that sounded as if it was something moving under the seat (it is right-hand drive, by the way!) and a noise that sounded like a spring going "boing" now and again from the right front.
I've had it up on the ramps at least 3 or 4 times trying to find the source and found nothing conclusive, no play or flex anywhere, but I suspected there may have been an issue with the aftermarket upper wishbone "polybushes" that were fitted back in February this year so i bit the bullet and bought new (correct part) upper wishbone bushes. I decided while in there to press new front shock lower bushes in and check the top mounts also (they were perfect, like new).
The upshot of this 3 hours work is that the car now drives perfect once more. No noises, clunks or knocks, so I guess my hunch about the polybushes was correct... either way, I'm happy again.
